Wind Over Water Kiteboarding is the school for you. We cover everything you to need to know from basic riding to technical tricks. Our instructors have years of riding experience in all kinds of weather conditions. They know what it takes to be safe and to have fun. There are many elements to kiteboarding; in our beginner courses we cover the essentials of Kiteboarding.
We begin lessons April 1st and run until October.

We also offer Snowkite lessons in Utah at the Premier location of Skyline Ridge. For more information check out our Snowkite page.

What to do to prepare for your lesson:

Practice: you can get your hands on a trainer kite and a instructional video, but it isn’t a must. You can order this on line at our store.
Go to your local beach and watch people ride, see how they set up and how they get into the water, then how do they get back to the beach. What do the do with there kite to get going. Imagine your self Kiteboarding, scooping the kite into the wind, gliding across the water. It’s going to be exciting, and fun, but you got to learn the basic fundamentals to get to this point.

Physical: kite boarding can be physically demanding. Drink plenty of water before your lesson and don’t exercise or party before the day of your lesson.

Mental: Be prepared to listen and learn. Kiteboarding is a fairly easy sport to get the hang of if you break it up into steps. Focus on mastering the step you are on not just riding. The riding part will come and when it does you won’t have to back track trying to learn steps you skipped along the way.

What to bring:
Sun block, towel, sneakers (not sandals) we have everything else

How to divide your hours:
The best way to divide up your hours is doing the 2 hour beach safety lesson and the 2 hour body drag in the same day . Then on another day with in the same week take the 2 hour board skills lesson.
